６年生の英語の時間に、大韓民国ソウル特別市の九宜（クイ）小学校との国際共同授業を行いました。交流を始めて今年で３年目になります。
　今日のテーマは給食です。自分たちの学校で人気のメニューを紹介したり、相手校でも出されているメニューを予想したりしました。
　日本でもよく知られているヤンニョムチキンやトッポギなどの韓国・朝鮮料理がクイ小学校の給食でも出されていることが分かりました。また、クイ小学校ではトンカツが出るのに萩原小学校では出ないこと、萩原小学校ではラーメンが出るのにクイ小学校ではラーメンが出ないことなど、違いも分かりました。

＜児童の感想＞
日本と韓国では、同じ料理でも、食べ方などが違った。（例）韓国では、カレーはご飯とよく混ぜて食べる。(O.Y)
同じところより違うところのほうが多いと思っていたけど、同じところのほうが多くてびっくりした。(H.M)

　An international joint class with Guui Primary School in Seoul Special City, Republic of Korea, was held during the Grade 6 English class. This is the third year since the exchange started.
　Today's theme is school lunch. The students introduced popular menus at their own school and predicted which menus would also be served at their partner's school.
　We found out that Korean dishes such as yangnyeom chicken and tteokbokki, which are well-known in Japan, are also served at Guui Primary School's school lunches. We also found out that tonkatsu is served at Guui Primary School, but not at Hagiwara Primary School, and that ramen is served at Hagiwara Primary School, but not at Guui Primary School.


In Japan and Korea, even the same dish is eaten in different ways. (e.g.) Curry is often mixed thoroughly with rice in Korea. (O.Y)
I thought there were more differences than similarities, but I was surprised that there were more similarities. (H.M)
