ビビンバは、韓国・朝鮮語では「混ぜて食べるご飯」という意味です。中国語では「拌飯」（bànfàn、韩式拌饭／朝鲜拌饭）と書きますので、元々の意味がよく分かります。ご飯と具を別々に食べることもできますが、混ぜるとおいしさが一層増します。

Bibimbap means 'mixed rice' in Korean. In Chinese, it is written as '拌饭(bànfàn, stirred rice)'(more precisely, 韩式拌饭/朝鲜拌饭, Korean-style stirred rice), which describes the original meaning clearly. You can eat the rice and ingredients separately, but mixing them together makes them taste even better.
